Using Bonus EXP

The Bonus EXP required for a full Level up (in Normal mode) is: (50 × Character's Level) + 50

To obtain the Bonus EXP required for a specific amount of experience points, just multiply the above amount by (experience points) / 100.

If playing in Easy mode, the Bonus EXP required is multiplied by 2/3. While in Hard mode, it's multiplied by 2.

Example:

Ilyana is a Level 1 Thunder Sage. To give her 100 experience points, and thus raise her to Level 2, requires (50 × (1 + 20)) + 50 = 1100 Bonus EXP.

Obtaining Bonus EXP

Notes:

For all criteria marked "Turns", the Bonus EXP listed is the maximum amount that you can obtain. If you take too long to complete a chapter, the Bonus EXP you receive will be less than what is listed here.

If any chapters feature NPC or Partner units, any Experience they gain is converted into Bonus EXP at the end of the chapter.
